5 Christmas Coloring Ideas You Can Generate with AI

Christmas is getting close, and if you have kids around (or students, or nieces, or just a bit of holiday chaos at home), you know that finding something calm and fun to do can feel like a miracle. Coloring pages are perfect for that. And now, with a little help from AI, you can create pages that feel personal, funny, or just different from the usual Santa-and-tree routine.

Here are five ideas you can try. Each one comes with tiny prompts you can copy into Coloriage-ai, and you’ll get a fresh coloring page in seconds.

    1. Christmas Dinosaurs

I don’t know why, but dinosaurs celebrating Christmas always work. They’re cute, they’re silly, and kids immediately go “ooooh”.

A couple of prompts you can try:

    • “cute dinosaur wearing a Santa hat holding a candy cane”
    • “two happy dinosaurs decorating a Christmas tree”
    • “baby dino opening a gift box”

    2. Santa in Unexpected Worlds

Sometimes it’s fun to take Santa out of his usual snowy schedule and drop him somewhere surprising. Space, the jungle, the beach… it all works.
    Try things like:

    • “Santa floating in space with gifts around him”
    • “Santa riding a surfboard on a big wave”
    • “Santa exploring a jungle with friendly animals”

    3. Kawaii Winter Animals

Tiny animals wearing scarves and hats. You honestly cannot go wrong with that. Kids love them, and adults usually end up coloring them too.

    • “kawaii penguin dressed as Santa holding a tiny gift”
    • “polar bear wearing a Christmas sweater”
    • “baby fox with a winter scarf next to a small Christmas tree”

    4. Gingerbread & Sweet Christmas Cuisine

If Christmas had a smell, it would probably be gingerbread. Turning cookies and sweets into characters gives you pages that look warm and funny.

    • “gingerbread family decorating a tiny Christmas tree”
    • “cookie-shaped reindeer with candy cane antlers”
    • “gingerbread house with smiling characters”

    5. Underwater Christmas

And now for something a little different: Christmas… under the sea.
Fish with gifts. A coral Christmas tree. A shy little octopus in a Santa hat. It’s unexpected in the best possible way.

    • “cute octopus wearing a Santa hat holding a gift”
    • “underwater Christmas tree made of corals”
    • “happy dolphin with a scarf swimming near floating ornaments”

    A quick wrap-up

That’s it! Five little ideas to spark something fun. If you want to try them, just paste the prompts into Coloriage-ai and see what comes out. You get 25 free credits every month, so you can play around without stress.

And if you’re short on time, you can also browse the community gallery. There’s always something cute waiting there.

    Have fun, and happy coloring.

  • Coloriage-ai Is Live

    Coloriage-ai Is Live

We’ve finally launched Coloriage-ai. This project started very quietly, a few sketches, and a couple of dinosaurs doodled on the side… and somehow it turned into an actual tool.

If you haven’t seen it yet, Coloriage-ai lets you create your own coloring pages. You give it a tiny idea, choose a style or an age range, and it generates a clean page you can print right away. We built it because we wanted something simple. AI can be impressive, but it shouldn’t be complicated to use for everyday fun. We were a bit frustrated that you had to learn prompt engineering just to have fun, so we tried to make something you can use in three clicks… and you’re already coloring.

And yes, the dinosaurs stayed. They became part of the identity without us really planning it. They’re just friendly little mascots hanging around the interface, trying their best not to step on the buttons.

There’s a free plan with 25 credits every month, so you can play with it, test silly ideas, or let your kids ask for “a dinosaur dressed as Santa” (don’t worry, the AI handles it like a champ).

We’re not trying to claim this is a big, world-changing thing. It’s just a small project we enjoyed building, and we hope it brings a bit of joy, calm, or inspiration to your day, the same way it did for us while making it.

If you try it and feel like sharing feedback, ideas, or your favorite dino prompts, we’d genuinely love to hear them.

    Thanks for being here,
    and happy coloring
